I'm having a problem with the cd reader in a newely aquired powerbase 240. Any cd I put in wipes everything off of the desktop (locks up the finder). The computer is running OS 8.5. The onboard video was trashed so an ATI 3D rage II video card has been installed, the other expansion slots are empty. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a possible cause? Thanks
