SCSI hard drives that were used in most Power Computing machines are
becoming a bit scarce. It's hard to find new ones, esp. 50-pin models, and
some vendors are even clearing out their inventory of refurbished HDs. But
The best deal I know for SCSI hard drives is Surplus Computers, They have 18 GB for $9.99 ea. They are 80 pin, but with adapters they'll work fine in 50 pin set ups. I just put two of these in a PTP running 10.3 and they are working fine. Check out http://www.softwareandstuff.com//h_strg_seast118723lc.html No financial interest, etc., etc. Just a satisfied customer. Heck if you have space for a double height drive they have some of the old Seagate Elite series server style drives at 47 GB for $13.99 http://www.softwareandstuff.com/h_hd_ST446442W.html. Not a high RPM drive, but absolutely bullet proof.
I have bought a lot of stuff from these guys over the years and never had a bad experience.
