Hm. On our PowerWave, turning off the monitor over night also crashes the computer... This is what makes me think the problem is much deeper than simply corrupted prefs or so... (which, btw, is always one of my first steps in isolating problems...) I wonder if having a monitor like yours would change things... BTW, this computer was given to us because the owner couldn't stand it crashing all the time. I also have done multiple reinstalls, and done all the diagnostics. I did find a bad SCSI CD drive, and removed it, thus removing about 90% of the crashes, but still, it crashes rather frequently. I've got more memory on the way, so we hope this will help with the bulk of the rest, but we still cannot sleep the computer... I had hoped that there was a common problem and that maybe we could find a common cure, but your symptoms, after reading this email, sound different from ours... -- Jon Glass Krakow, Poland <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?
