Remember, no 7200 or 7200-derived machine can access EDO-type RAM. These machines MUST have FPM-type RAM. Period.


PCC machines are either 7200-derived or are 9500-derived. Those that are 7200-derived (check the product matrix) cannot, and should not have EDO RAM installed.

BTW, on true 7200s, the mobo may be blown if EDO RAM is installed.

I once heard a frittzzzz and looked over to see a person had put an EDE chip into an Apple 7200. It fried the Ram chip.
