[ snip ] >"Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record ... They're one of the "usual suspects" in silicone (sic) valley. I've had no problems with them, but I've been a walk-in customer, not a mail order customer. At one time they had decent deals on refurbed PowerBook packages. No more, though. Note that the 9 GB drives are 3.5", 1" high SCA drives and the 23 GB drives are 5.25", 3-1/8" UW-SCSI drives. While almost any Mac can power one of these 9 GB drives, it would take a Q950 or an external case to power *each* 23 GB drive. -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
