Epson printer cartriges have some sort of mini-microchip on them. Most of the non-Epson vendors use old recycled cartridges, but some of them are not able to reset the "out of ink" part of the chip. This is indicative of a poor refill. I always have bought my cartriges from www.think4ink.com and they ALWAYS work like new Epson cartridges. Toss the cartridge and buy new ones. See if you can get a refund from 123 inkjets.
BTW, the Epsons all print better than the HP's. I have had both and can attest to that fact. Ken Martin ----------------- This is not PowerComputing Specific ... BUT, I have Epson C60 & C80 inkjet printers on my PCP 210 and PTP225, respectively. I bought the ink cartridges from 123 inkjets. When I first replaced the black ink cartridge on the C60, it gave me a "this is not an Epson product and all the doom and gloom scenario. Then it worked fine ever since. So saying, I have just replaced the Black Cartridge on the C80 and it won't recognize it. Claims the Printer is out of Black INk. I've wasted 30 minutes on this. The 123 Inkjet web site has not answered my help query. Has anyone overcome this problem before? * I have three Epson Inkjets on my three systems ... next time, all will be HP. The additional unit is on my AppleTalk network, it is a Photo 820 with AppleTalk Board ($400 plus invested).
