I have the C 80 I use now and an old 850 & 740 printers that are just
sitting but still working. From my experience with Epson printers it is
always better to use Epson brand ink only. I learned not to try and
save money on ink cartridges and since I've bought only Epson ink I
have had none of the problems I was having before.

This is not PowerComputing Specific ... BUT, I have Epson C60 & C80
inkjet printers on my PCP 210 and PTP225, respectively. I bought the
ink cartridges from 123 inkjets. When I first replaced the black ink
cartridge on the C60, it gave me a "this is not an Epson product and
all the doom and gloom scenario. Then it worked fine ever since.
So saying, I have just replaced the Black Cartridge on the C80 and it
won't recognize it. Claims the Printer is out of Black INk. I've
wasted 30 minutes on this. The 123 Inkjet web site has not answered
my help query.
Has anyone overcome this problem before?

will be HP. The additional unit is on my AppleTalk network, it is a
