You mean, the PTP won't handle Panther? Horrors!

Though OS 10 point tee-widy may be the most elegant, efficient, wonder system out there ... it's sometimes as aggravating as Windows 3.
Seriously, the more I read in MacWorld and Mac Addict about problems with "X", the Kitty Litter OS group, the more I'm reminiscent of Performas. Everything encountered, at the time, had work arounds or exceptions for the Performa. I didn't understand it until someone gave me one for my #3 son. The performa freeze ups, with me running Conflict Catcher on it, plus our many telephone consultations from his "PAD" to me, made a Windows person out of him.

Ten is so involved and non intuitive, it makes one think Apple has forgotten the original mission statement:
To make computing easy and accessible by the Non-Geek. Sometimes OS 10.2 is as frustrating as CPM and DataBase II was, on my old K-pro.

It would appear to me, that Apple has gone to "Geek Niche Marketing" ... I'm not saying that is wrong. People have the right to be different; hell some folks like choppers and Harley Davidson Greyhound busses. BUT ... I think it was a grave management mistake to halt the development of OS 9. They have lost ease of use, a major selling point.

BTW, Forbes mag is dissing apple again.
