I did what you suggest several times. It may be connected and I just have a browser problem. The only client I was able to find was an old copy of IE 3.0 on an Adobe PhotoDeluxe CD. Probably came with a scanner or camera a few years back. I'll work on it this week. Have to get more TCP/IP utility stuff over to the Mac. Also need a switch/hub downstairs. I'm out of ports. I have been disconnecting the cat5 cable from my desktop PC and plugging it in to the PTP. I have tried looking on the router setup to see if the IP address list included the Mac. So far, nothing. Maybe a bad ethernet connector?
