PCI processor cards was actually a 604e for the 8600/9600 only.
Newertech's first G3 card was a 250Mhz G3.

There actually was a PCI PowerMac with a G3 daughter card.

It was an early version of what later became the (Beige) G3 Server.

In a 9600 case. 9600 PSU. 6 slot, 5 usable. Case indicia stated "G3
Server".

300 MHz G3.
