Subject: PPC Cache Chips in PCI Macs

I'm playing with some old Macs I recently got ahold of, and I have two
1MB L2 cache DIMMs from a couple dead Power Computing PowerCenters.
Should these work in a 7300, 7600, or 8600? Anybody know ? I don't
want to find out the hard way that it won't work.

I have a PC132 and a 7500/100 - the latter came to me without a cache. When I upgraded the PC132 with a Sonnet Crescendo G3/400, I removed the cache and moved it to the 7500, which now seems to work a lot better. It should work for you as well, I imagine.
