SpamSieve gets called via an AppleScript.
Is SpamSieve located in the same folder as PM?
If the script can't find SpamSieve a dialog should show asking you where
SpamSieve is.
Did you quit SpamSive before replacing it?
I'd suggest you to restart your computer and reinstall SpamSieve.
