Hmm... interesting.  It would be nice if PM logged more verbosely.  Have
you asked your server administrator to check the mail log?  Perhaps you
can get some detail from the other side.

I've never had a problem with this.  I've even aborted and re-downloaded
multi-megabyte attachments without error.  From my standpoint the
problem seems to be unique to your situation.
