More mysteries. when I try and run filters on messages in my PM Salvaged imported message folder I can only choose "all filters" as the other specific filter alternatives are greyed out and when I do, nothing happens. No error messages, nothing is moved. If I move them to another folder the same thing happpens. If I make a new filter based on a selected message, it will still not work! It's looking more and more like PowerMail isn't regarding these messages as real ones, yet the headers in source look complete. I removed the headers PM Salvage added, but nothing else
Any ideas what's going on? I guess I have to move these messages by hand then. Grrrrrr. I told earlier: >With a new fresh and as far as I can judge complete search index, built >from scratch post-import of 37709 PM salvaged messages, I look at older >folder with 3558 messages and sort these by "sent date. Messages have >sent dates between 2002-09-13 and 2004-11-25. > I set up a search for messages in this folder with sent dates after >2002-09-13 and before 2004-11-25. Results are 3558 messages and meeting >my expectations. Great. > >Now, I go to my PM salvaged messages folder with 37709 messages and sort >likewise. Messages have sent dates between 2006-01-28 and 2006-04-05. I >set up a search for messages in this folder with sent dates after >2006-01-28 and before 2006-04-05. Results are 18389 messages. Eh? > >So why isn't all messages in the index?
