With a new fresh and as far as I can judge complete search index, built
from scratch post-import of 37709 PM salvaged messages, I look at older
folder with 3558 messages and sort these by "sent date. Messages have
sent dates between 2002-09-13 and 2004-11-25.
I set up a search for messages in this folder with sent dates after
2002-09-13 and before 2004-11-25. Results are 3558 messages and meeting
my expectations. Great.
Now, I go to my PM salvaged messages folder with 37709 messages and sort
likewise. Messages have sent dates between 2006-01-28 and 2006-04-05. I
set up a search for messages in this folder with sent dates after
2006-01-28 and before 2006-04-05. Results are 18389 messages. Eh?
So why isn't all messages in the index? What *is* going on?
