Tom,

Firstly, I did not say the above text, I merely quoted it.  The text
actually came from Simon Troup.  Please include ALL attributions in your
email.

Secondly, Applescript is too cumbersome for this.  A simple field in the
Address Book entry for the given recipient is all that is required.  All
that field would do is contain a pointer to one of the signatures already
created by the PowerMail user.

As the Address Book feature seems to be a database, adding fields should
be easy.  In short, no ballooning code, no slow Applescripts, no extra
hoops for anybody.  The program already allows for preferred encoding
method for attachments, why not preferred signatures?

An example would be this list.  I would like to assign the signature you
see below to the PowerMail discussion list so that whenever I compose a
new message or reply to an old message to the list, the signature is
AUTOMATICALLY selected.

That is ALL Simon, Hiro, I and possibly others are asking.
