With PM's far from great support for IMAP, I don't think that is the best
shot at all, but its big plus is that it can work out very fast of course
(provided getting an IMAP account isn't an issue).

I'm planning to work on some kind of date/time based export/import script
for incremental backup of email messages and attachments in PowerMail,
which perhaps later (much later) could be further evolved to a
synchronizing script, but I have lots of other more important projects to
finish off first. In my mind, such a script, whenever someone codes it,
would be the second best solution. I'd be very happy if someone beat me
to it, actually. ;)

The best solution of course would be that CTM made synchronizing separate
databases a feature of PowerMail itself. However, personally I'd rather
CTM fixed some other issues first.
