Try this script.

tell application "PowerMail"
set theMessages to current messages
repeat with msg in theMessages
set online status of msg to marked for deletion
end repeat
end tell

It should delete the message (and I suspect the attachment too) from the
mailserver at the next connection. You can also Cmd-click on the partial
attachment icon and it should give you similar choices.
