Thanks for your help but my contacts don't use anymore GB2312. They send me messages in UTF-8 and I send them messages also in UTF-8. I don't understand why PowerMail can save a perfect text file for one message (where I can see the chinese characters) while it is unable to archive UTF-8 chinese messages.
