Yes - I must confess that I am (tho' my wife's machine will run OS X and
my son has just donated a PowerBook which would run OS X if I maxed out
its memory potential). The investment in a 'modern' machine is far from
'modest' when (1) you live in Europe and (2) you factor in the cost of
replacing peripherals (mine are practically all either serial- or SCSI-
conected). I agree that my computer is my most important tool but it
ain't broke nor does it freeze once/day. And what I do is mainly writing
for which the rate-determining step is my own brain (and use WordPerfect
for this tho' it was EOLed a long time ago).

In these circumstances I had no need to switch to PM from Emailer
(another fine EOLed programme). I did so because _one day_ I shall
spring for OS X capable kit and I'm preparing myself gently for that day.
I hope that PM will still be developed for OS 9 but that must be a
commercial decision for CTM to take. I make comments here on PM in the
hope that they will be of use whatever system(s) PM is developed for.
