If POP, then you should be aware that there are some issues regarding POP servers and corrupt email. If a piece of email with badly formed or corrupt headers comes along, it can cause the client to hang, quit or give up gracefully at that point. As the mail has not been downloaded SUCCESSFULLY, it *might* still be marked as unread. Subsequent requests will therefore try to download them again, leaving your client in an endless loop. Different clients behave slightly differently but I've seen similar behavior in Eudora and Outlook to ignore it as a possibility. What you are seeing might simply be PM's way of handling such mail.
Try this a solution. Log on to your server in some other way, if possible. Delete the repeating messages and logout. Try PM again and see what happens. Repeat for the other accounts as necessary. As always, your mileage may vary. -- Tim Lapin [EMAIL PROTECTED] G4/AGP/400 OS 10.2.6 PowerMail 4.1.3 384 MB RAM 40+10 GB HDs
