Thanks for the advice. But she will log in to her own account on my OSX
machine. I haven't tested yet, but I take for granted PowerMail will
start up and create a new database in her account folder. If it doesn't,
I'll have to fix it then. 

I do love my kids, but not enough to let them in and mess up all my mails
and other stuff...  :-)
