There are a number of other programs that you can use to delete the
message from your inbox on the server so PowerMail doesn't choke on it.
Tim's PowerMail FAQ lists a few; see:

<http://home.hpo.net/timm/PowerMailFAQ.html#5.3.2>
(The whole FAQ is worth a read, especially if you didn't know about it
before.)

Also, some have mentioned another app, Mail Siphon, on this list. Or,
some other e-mail clients don't choke so easily on these things. You can
give Outlook Express, etc a simple test run (just be sure to have your
preferences set not to delete mail so you can get the right stuff later
with PowerMail). So there's a start for you.

Since the messages you receive are from a spammer, I doubt anything will
get fixed on the PowerMail end. People use malformed mail (and other)
precisely to mess up the systems they target. While PowerMail 4 may not
handle these bum messages any better than version 3.1.3, I doubt it does
it any worse (and probably helps reduce the possibility of database
corruption by _not_ accepting them).
