There was a feature in the OS9 Internet Exploiter that I found very
handy. If you clicked and held the pointer for a second, the contextual
menu would appear without using the Control key. I haven't been able to
find the same feature in IE-X.

The Mac has always been about personalization/customization, and I
applaud any program that is preference-rich.

I'm a filter-freak, myself. I've got 28 separate Mail Filters, many
max'd out at the 16 rule limit. I may have multiple filters that apply
to a single mail folder. Let's say that I have a folder called "Family &
Friends". One filter might have the addresses of my friends with the
filter "Set label to: Friends" which is one of the ten Label fields
available. The "Friends" label color is a nice dark green. The "Stop
applying filters..." option is not checked.

The next Mail Filter might have the addresses of my family members with
"Set label to: Family" which is a deep purple. Again, the "Stop applying
filters..." option is not checked.

A third filter would then have all of the addresses of the first two,
with the action "Move message into folder: Family & Friends". This time,
I would check "Stop applying filters..."

The net affect would be that all of the e-mail from family AND friends
would be routed to the same folder, but I could immediately identify
friend from foe ...er, I mean family, by the label color. I could also
sort by label as well, if I wanted to separate the two groups.

Now, what if I got a post from Uncle Fred, e-mailed from his death-bed,
bequeathing his extensive beer-bottles-of-the-world collection to me.
Now that's an important message! I don't want loose that one amongst the
"Hi. How's the family..." and "Let's do lunch" e-mails. So I would go
to the menu -> File -> Label and scroll down to a bright red label called
"Important!".

What I'm trying to illustrate here is that A) the more label choices you
have, the more organized you can be, and B) having to mouse through the
menus is a pain - minor may it be.

So yes, Mike, let's raise the flag for additional and more accessible
labels in PowerMail. Ta, Tahhhhh....
