Quotin' myself:

The continuing saga...

So I was editing a draft message to send to the list, and I switched
over to the Mail Browser to check a Yahoo Group message after reading
Don's post about "fully featured."

Command-H out of force of habit. :)

No bug. Hmmm...

Quit, relaunch, go select "bad" Yahoo/HTML message, Command-H > bug.

Quit, relaunch, select saved draft message, go select "bad" message,
Command-H > bug.

Quit, relaunch, _open_ saved draft message, go select "bad" message,
Command-H > no bug.

Quit, relaunch, command-N/create new message, don't save it yet, go
select "bad" message, Command-H > no bug.

Quit, relaunch, command-N/create new message, save it, go select "bad"
message, Command-H > no bug.

Quit, relaunch, command-N/create new message, close it without saving,
go select "bad" message, Command-H > no bug.

Quit, relaunch, select good message, reply to, go select "bad" message,
Command-H > no bug.

Perhaps, if PowerMail was launched but one never made a new message
(from scratch or by reply), then one is somehow susceptible? If most
people make new messages or make a reply before encountering a bad
message (what with SpamSieve and the like doing a good job clearing them
out), then the bug would not be experienced.

Tentative new workaround:
On launching PowerMail, create a new message then close it (doesn't need
to be saved).
You now have immunity from text/html messages if your HTML rendering
option is set to off.

Time for lunch.
