I disagree. Why should the protocol used affect the human-target interface?

While I'm not familiar with the details of mail queue timer functions of
Eudora I'd like to point out that you can decide to either send the
message directly, later by "hand", at the next scheduled connection or
when quitting PowerMail as set in the current schedule. As the next
connection interval can be se by a timer, there is a way to have a timer
function on the mail queue.

While that may be true regarding integrity contentwise, pure visual
reformatting is acceptable IMHO.
