I have to stand partially corrected as I did a test and it seems some filter actions are applied at saving (clicking the send button with settings at not sending at once means it is saved), ie pre-sending it. However, moving the message to another folder doesn't seem to be one of them. Which is what The Perfesser asked for. This can be done at sending the message of course. Your response to Don who said there "is a quirk that the filter would not be applied until _after_ the message is sent" where you told "That's no longer true - I have filters that set my reply-to address on outgoing messages" does indeed seem correct for other actions but changing the folder of outgoing messages. But not all actions are done pre-sending. Please feel free to add what actions are done at saving, folks. This would be most useful for what to expect from a filter.
