no ... the engine is non-utf and that won't change. I just did a review on mail-clients on the mac and the result was pretty frustrating. There's not a one mail client on the market which could compete with a modern version of PowerMail, meaning full UTF and complete imap support (many parallel accounts open) with the search power of PM and the clean interface it offers. so I think a (partial) rewrite of PM would be actually the way to go. so please Jérôme, think about it. thanks Matthias
