Palo Verde provides the following response:

When we receive a cask with pre-staged shoring in it we remove the contents and
survey the cask for contamination and inspect for Foreign Material / defects.

Subject: Powernet: Radwaste Cask Shipment Questions

When you receive a cask with pre-staged shoring in place, do you remove the
shoring to perform a visual inspection of the cask interior?

Why or why not?

If you prefer to reply directly to me, my email address is below.

Thanks,

Charles
