Quick question about survey requirements for new fuel. When you conduct radiation surveys of new fuel as it's unloaded and staged in the plant, how many locations do you survey each bundle?
1. 1 (center of bundle) 2. 3 (center and toward top and bottom) 3. 5 (~ every 2 feet or so) 4. Other As the fuel is loaded into new fuel racks, the general area dose rates do become measurable such that a reduction in survey locations should have a small but measurable personnel dose benefit.
