Subject: Powernet: Quick Question on Intakes and PCEs

Palo Verde requests information on the following:

If a worker alarms an exit area contamination monitor and there is an
indication that they have
experienced an intake e.g., contamination in and/or around the nose and mouth
only, how do
you account for / record the identified condition, e. g., only consider the
potential internal dose
consequences (treat as an intake only), consider this as a potential or actual
PCE, both, or something different?

Thanks in advance, Seth.
