Diablo Canyon has a formal qualification record for each ERO position

Each position has initial class room or CBT training with formal testing
and there is a formal facility specific walkthrough with a several page
checklist - walkthrough usually takes a couple of hours

We use OJT and TPE for complex technical ERO tasks, such as core damage
assessment and dose assessment (these would be tracked in the position
specific qualification record as applicable)

most requal training is done via CBT

ERO positions that perform dose assessment perform an annual requal TPE
on that task

Cooper Nuclear Station does not utilize the formal OJT/TPE process for
the qualification of ERO positions. It is a formal process and the
person performing the evaluation must be OJT/TPE qualified.

Robinson would like to know if your site uses the formal OJT/TPE process
to qualify personnel for ERO positions in the same manner in which your
site qualifies personnel in accredited training programs (technical and
operations training).
