Browns Ferry DOP tests vacuum cleaners at least on an annual basis or after HEPA filer replacement. We do have failures but I do not know off hand what the rate is.
We have a variety of vacuums and change out the filters with those recommended for the vacuum We use the Particulate Detection Apparatus TDA-2G and TDA-2H and Thermal Aerosol Generators TDA-5B and TDA-B We no longer use DOP, but a substitute agent PAO Radiation Protection conducts the testing.
