Dominion (Millstone Power Station Replies)- 1) Our Corporate Safety Department has overall responsibility and thus our Safety Dept. has been designated at our local facility. However, at Millstone our Safety Dept. relied heavily on RP to perform monthly surveillances of the exit signs. We also tracked the tritium exit sign (TES) in our sealed source inventory database. We have since disposed of all our tritium exit signs (TES) in accordance with our guideline and replaced them with a Safety Dept approved nonradioactive self-illuminating exit signs.
2) Dominion currently has a corporate guideline that addresses TES, not smoke detectors. Michael C.
