Greater than 1000 dpm /100cm2 defines a contaminated area. You can have
elevated counts on a masslinn that does not meet the criteria for a
contaminated area. These areas will be deconned.

We wear modesty clothing (scrubs) under C-zone clothing. Any
contamination found on clothing greater than 100 cpm is counted as a
Personnel Contamination. The only exception is the C-zone clothing.

Not sure what RPPE or civil clothing is but any utility issued clothing
other than C-zone clothing is counted

Subject: Powernet: PCE's and loose contamination events

Good Afternoon,

I was wondering what your plants do for classifications of the

following?

Loose contamination?

Is all loose contamination found outside of a CCA classified as loose

contamination? Are there instances where it would not be counted as a

loose event (floor cleaning, large area masslins, etc...)?

Does your station use coveralls as RPPE or civil clothing? Do you use

scrubs? Are events on scrubs or other coveralls all counted as PCE's?

When would it not be counted?

Thanks
