Wolf Creek is requesting information for the following questions: What type of radiation survey software does your site use? VSDS Do you train contract personnel to use this software? Yes Is your radiation survey software required for all surveys performed, or do you allow special circumstances to write them by hand? (Excluding the obvious, computer system down). Required for all surveys. During our first attempt to implement an electronic survey program we allowed exemptions, based on our experience, I do not recommend using this method. Are your surveys available for all site personnel to view once the survey is complete? Yes, although we are still fine tuning this process. Please state any future plans you might have regarding survey software changes or updates. We plan on employing the fixed point monitoring connection between GEDDS and VSDS to perform remote surveys of legal record. This will be a limited application at first, most likely using the Miron Technologies RDS-31 survey instrument Kathy Porter Radiation Protection Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corp. 1550 Oxen Lane NE Burlington, KS 66839 [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> (620) 364-8831 ex. 8577 --- NOTICE --- This message is for the designated recipient only and may contain confidential, privileged or proprietary information.
