Salem Station:

Does not have an empty pockets policy in or out of RCA.

ANSI Qualified RP personnel operate the SAM

Personal gloves are monitored by Sr RP via SAM.

Routine tools are NOT generally released unless approved by RPS. This is
delineated by procedure.

Expectation is that RP responding to alarms donn vinyl gloves.

Fermi 2 requests answers to the following. Thanks in advance!

1) Does your site have an empty pockets policy for entering the RRA?

2) Does your site have an empty pockets policy for exiting the RRA?

3) Are RadWorkers allowed to use the SAM when exiting the RRA for personal
items?

     - What items are considered personal?

4) Does you site allow personal gloves to be monitored in and out of RRA?

     - Who performs the monitoring?

5) What restrictions do you place on routine/standard tools entering and
exiting the RRA?

     - Is this delineated in your procedures?

6) Are RP Techs responding to PCM or SAM alarms required to wear rubber gloves?
