Legacy Duke Energy:
What is your Current Dose Assessment Software Solution? RADDOSE V
Does the software have Multi-Unit Capability? Yes. Other site units can be
modeled using unit vent low (cpm), high (cpm) and high-high (mr/hr) range
monitors. Direct isotopic sample input is also a function for all site units.
Release rates (Ci/sec) are an option (if known).
Does the software have Multi-Source Capability? Yes. Up to five concurrent
pathways (per System Design Specifications) on normal reactor coolant, gap
activity and/or melt isotopic spectrums.
If your software does not have Full Capability Dose Assessment have you
identified an alternative software solution? N/A

Legacy Progress Energy:
What is your Current Dose Assessment Software Solution? RASCAL (current version)
Does the software have Multi-Unit Capability? No
Does the software have Multi-Source Capability? No, but can be summed by
qualified dose assessors.
If your software does not have Full Capability Dose Assessment have you
identified an alternative software solution? Transitioning to RADDOSE V in 2014.

Subject: Powernet: Dose Assessment Software Survey

Folks,

With regard to the multi-unit/multi-source dose assessment, I would like to
perform a brief survey to see what software solution people intend on using to
establish the capability. This could be useful for future
benchmarking/alignment opportunities, bulk purchasing opportunities, etc. I
will put together the summary of the responses by 5/31, and send out the
results for all to benefit. I appreciate you taking the time to complete this
survey and any additional comments are welcome.

Licensee Name:

What is your Current Dose Assessment Software Solution?
Does the software have Multi-Unit Capability?
Does the software have Multi-Source Capability?

If your software does not have Full Capability Dose Assessment have you
identified an alternative software solution?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Example filled out survey:

Licensee Name: Southern California Edison (2 units)

What is your Current Dose Assessment Software Solution? Raddose V
Does the software have Multi-Unit Capability? Not full capability. Dose
assessment can be performed currently on each unit then and manually sum the
output
Does the software have Multi-Source Capability: Yes, up to 3 sources per unit

If you software does not have Full Capability Dose Assessment, have you
identified an alternate software solution? TBD. Potentially upgrade Raddose V
or new software package
