Hello all, D. C. Cook is looking to benchmark other HEPA programs in the nuclear power industry. Below are some specific questions that we're most interested in. Thank you for your response. 1. How do you control your HEPA(PVU) and vacuums? Kept in locked cage and issued to an individual for use 2. Do you store them in a cage or designated room in your Auxiliary building? Locked cage 3. Who does the maintenance on the HEPA(PVU) and vacuums? Decon Specialists 4. Do you have a computer check out system? No, we use hardcopy forms 5. How do you control where the HEPA(PVU) and vacuums are moved to after they have been issued? The individual issued the unit maintains control of use 6. Do you perform your own PAO (leak test) testing? Yes, performed by our Decon Specialists 7. How often do you verify the radiological conditions of the vacuums? At a minimum upon return, the survey frequency is based on use. Some jobs may require the use of telemetry. 8. What type of HEPA(PVU) and Vacuums do you use?
