During our recent outage, we roped off and posted an area within a contaminated 
area with a trefoil and "RP Brief Required For Entry", to differentiate it as 
an area where workers could not self-brief because contamination levels were 
greater than 10,000 dpm/100cm2.
We omitted the Contaminated Area posting to avoid double-posting; the 
contamination levels were less than 100,000 dpm/100cm2 but greater than 10,000.
Our QA department wrote a deficiency CR because the area "does not include a 
"readily identifiable" type of radiological hazard present, as required by 
NISP-RP-04, Radiological Posting and Labeling, Section 2.1 and Section 3.2".
What do you do to differentiate areas where Self-Briefed workers are not 
allowed?
