We used to use the chirp at Cook but have stopped due to it being confused with a dose or dose rate alarm sometimes.

We stopped doing the chirp because new outage workers were stopping and coming out not sure why the heard a sound from the SRD or recurring sound. If it's a DMC300 dosimeter its also a flash of the led and vib pulse and scares them.... If so, why. If not, why not. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
