We have been using the chirp feature for years at PV with no concerns from the
workers. The chirp frequency is determined by our RWP writers based on expected
dose rates. We have found it is a good tool for the workers to recognize a
change in dose rates. We use a chirp setting of either 0.1, 1, or 10
mrem/chirp. In the case of a multipack, we do disable the chirp.

I know this question has been asked before but Fermi is wondering who among our
peers are using the SRD Chirp function for every 1 millirem or some other
frequency. If so, why. If not, why not.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
