That's one of the reasons why I didn't bother using kpowersave any more. I 
didn't manage to integrate it with suspend2. Switching HAL to use the 
(suspend2) hibernate script was a breeze, but getting powersave to use it 
left me frustrated. It was hard to get to know what's going on (an issue of 
any complex application, I guess), so I was left with powersave ignoring 
parts of the hibernate script, leaving my machine broken post-resume.

It did also have impact on my decision to work on a different solution for 
Kubuntu, by the way.
