It�s very interesting to dream about the future, our futures such our career, life, families, etc. Likewise, too extravagant if we read last posting from our friend Julkifli about what he even our dream will be. Anyway, make dream come true!
One point that I wish to discuss with you all, there are about the �source� and �destination� expecially in my study and give me inspiration into real life. Today, I had no class of Operating System (CS-410) since my Lecturer Prof. Vidyarthi was absent for certain bussiness, but in this forum I will let you know part of this that regarding our discussion.
In computer implementation, we knows the concept of Operating System, mean the program that manage all things, hardware, software and operation method for specific computer system. Many people designing, developing and improving in order to create sophisticate computer system. In my computer lab, we had and sometime I compared, try to find out what the uniqueness among them, like Our simple experimental OS:Minix, Sun-Solaris, BSD, kind of Linux, Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows families.
All have their own methods and techniques for developing best system. Basically, in computer operation these �source� is same, user input & input devices. The �destination� is also similar, user purposes, task result by processing lot of data and many kind of output for user satisfication.
Unix based OS (except Apple Machintosh) give us interesting method and stability even in networking system by so many restriction and incompatibility, but it just for whom understand exactly about computer and it�s systems.
Apple Macintosh introducing a lot of features for user satifaction (high class society) and enjoyment and integrated devices that make it easier to use for personal need. User will facing many problem where these devices and systems are not allowed to be replaced into another environment.
By this limitation and incompatibility, few peoples who named their group microsoft corporation introducing not-serius designed operating system like MS-DOS, unexpected OS that to be soo popular by it�s compatibility and user friendly. They become more serious, spending their time, improve it and make it simpler and simpler, even somebody who never know about computer system they can understand to operate it, that�s microsoft Windows (microsoft co. 1978). This OS not only give the compatibility that many hardware and software industries designing kind of hardwares and aplication programs for it, it�s provide a lot of easy-tool and usefull guides with simplest explanation. It�s support multilanguages that makes all peoples on the world can easily operate it, disability people can easily to use it also.
Very nice creation, it�s not an easy thing, it need more than 20 years experiences. Of course, it become famous and sold on all over the world. People don�t know IBM-PC, but they know Windows, even they don�t know Unix, Solaris or Macintosh.
So, if many people doing the same thing it doesn�t mean they will get the same reward, that�s depend on their vision and how what they do become influencing and providing a better thing for better life. How we can get our dream if we just "do nothing" and hoping our dream will come true? Even how we can change the world? Or just chat or doing an unimportant thing, how we can become an important people??
From now, today and tommorow we should change the world, make our dream true, do important thing so we become an important people!
