Dear friends all over the world,

The article makes an interesting reading. A committed muslim with a
conscience will never make polygamy as a tool to justify it's hyper-
libidos. Polygamy is a last resort from an islamic point of view.
Besides, a consent from first wives as well as from the would-be-
second wife are required to make this polygamy happen. However, we
should keep our eyes wide open in regard to the abuses perpetrated by
some muslims away from this regulations.

Likewise, a good christian, particularly chatolic, will never marry
again nor divorce his beloved and only wife. Because they believe
she's gifted from heaven. but they should not keep their eyes shut in
terms of many abuses perpetrated by the community even by their own
priests which we can read in so many western media. Adultery
forbidden in any religion, particularly in Islam and maybe in
Christianity too. But the reality is americans and europeans are more
and more far away from their religions. Lesbianism and homosexualism
getting more trendy and in-vogue nowadays. Free-sexualism become a
life-style. All these 'epidemic events' will lead, i believe, to the
disastrous consequences the mandkind going to face in the future.

>From this point of view, the opinion of Prof Turley to legalise
polygamy should be regarded as "a gutsy step" in the right direction.
His idea wont be popular, mind you, because many westerners or all
lust-starving-guys will not agree to this 'crazy' idea. Buat if you
have a conscience, im sure you will agree with him. Polygamy as a
step to minimalise the free-sex epidemic would be welcomed by muslim
communities and once again will prove the correctness of Islamic
teaching point of views on this regard which never change since the
inception of Islam 15 centuries ago. A religion which not and willnot
flip-flop in terms of its principles prescribed in the holy quran.

cheers and peace,
Faruq,
Manchester
