Version 24.6 has been used by dozens of users for months without problem. You can use it for searching for 10 million digit primes.
In general, version 24.6 is 20% faster for Athlons, somewhat slower for P3s, and
no different for P4s. It also fixes a somewhat rare GCD crash bug in Linux.
