Re: service.. Prime95 will only install/run one (1) image as a service
(unless there was a recent upgrade I did not hear of). So for multi CPU
you need to have the startups configured for the A1, A2 etc. Its all
in the user guide.

I don't think that's true... In recent versions, the standard "Prim95
service" with the GUI seems to run on my servers no matter who is logged
in, or if nobody is logged in. You have to manually start the service
after install, or wait for a reboot.
That is correct. The latest 23.x and up if you check "Start at Boot"
it will install the prime95.exe program as a service (on
NT/2000/XP/2003) and it will start when the system boots (like the
description says). It might even install as a "fake" service on
Win95/98 but I'm not sure about that.
The advantage of the NTPRIME client now seems to be only that it is
GUI-less, and as I recall a bit more scriptable.
The disadvantage it still has is that you need the Prime95 GUI
application to change the configuration unless you are familiar with
the .ini settings.
I'm not sure about RAM usage, it might be that NTPRIME uses a little
less memory since it doesn't have any of the GUI components in the
code but that is just a wild guess.
Jeff.
