Don't have XP but what Rick suggests works fine in Win 2000. You might even get away with the renamed file being a symbolic link to the same executable image file but these days it hardly seems to be worthwhile worrying about a miserable few megabytes. In fact I even have prime95 programmed to suspend if a renamed prime95 is running - the renamed prime95 is to do special jobs. The only complication I can think of is if you have some special anti-virus or anti-spyware application that for some reason or other doesn't trust files that get renamed.
