This printer appears to require hplip 3.9.2 or later to drive it.  This 
is available in the current OpenSolaris builds, but as far as I know, it 
isn't built or packaged for Solaris 10.  If you want to use this printer 
off a Solaris 10 system, you would need to either locate a pre-built set 
of packages to install or download, configure, and build a copy of your 
own.  You might also try OpenSolaris.  I believe that all of the bits 
necessary to drive this printer are on the LiveCD image, so you should 
be able to boot from CD (or USB), create a queue (under CUPS with HPLIP) 
and try it without installing on your system.
