Hi Tracy, Rick Boggs and I are the only people who have spoken with Digidesign regarding Pro Tools accessibility. The last bit of information we had via someone on the development team was that the head of development felt it would take a lot of work. Personally, I think he is mistaken and misinformed. Further, I've brought the issue up with someone at Apple. Basically, Apple says they're willing to help but the initiative has to come from Digidesign. So, unfortunately, there's really nothing to report at this time. I'm considering drawing up a petition directed at Digidesign and will probably seek signatures of blind users interested and requiring access to Pro Tools. Any step in that direction will certainly be publicized when it happens.
